Intentional Backpacking and Hiking

Join me as we explore the fundamentals to camping and backpacking! Using Leave No Trace principles, these trips are here to help us learn about our growth/stretch zones, while building community and a deeper connection with ourselves and the natural world around us!

Next trips:

Saturday, May 18th through Sunday, May 19th, with 3-hour orientation on Friday, May 17th at 5:00pm.

Saturday, May 25th through Sunday, May 26th, with 3-hour Orientation on Friday, May 24th at 5:00pm.

During these day and overnight trips I will be teaching on back country etiquette (for those who haven’t spent much time hauling a pack into the woods), guide you through a variety of meditations and ceremonies, and provide ample opportunities to gain new confidence, whether you’re lighting a camp stove for the first time, teaching us on a subject your passionate about or leading a workshop you’ve been practicing.

As per usual with my retreats, this will be a collaborative process, as I believe each person has something valuable and important to contribute to an experience. If you’re interested in leading or teaching on a subject related to connecting with nature, please let me know (also not mandatory for joining). ✨🌿✨

If interested, send me an e-mail to to register, and I will send you more info on what you will need to bring, or connect you to the right resources to have those needs met. Open to beginners or avid backpackers 🌎 Locations are selected as we get closer to the dates to account for group needs and experience levels.

$70.00 (includes food) for over night trips.

My own personal background in outdoor education stems across the last decade, yet was a factor missing from my first two decades. It’s taken me many adventures to gain confidence in my abilities to lead outdoors, and I am here to support others who want to become more familiar with this terrain! Starting as a raft guide in Riggins, ID, and beginning to explore the Seven Devils back country, I was inspired to make outdoor adventure a greater part of my life. Since then I have spent a significant amount of time on trail, exploring places such as the Himalayas of India, a 11-day section of the Andes in Peru and the Lost Coast in California! I have also led trips backpacking, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing across the pacific northwest. I am excited to blend my passions for outdoor education with my natural calling for the healing arts. Naturally, they are quite complementary, as nature is an intrinsic part when tending to the wholeness in which we are. Join me as we get more comfortable in the unknown and growing into our most empowered and aligned selves.
